ONLINE PILATES & SLINGS REPLAY

 

Enjoy the REPLAY of the ONLINE Pilates & Slings mat class where Pilates is complimented by Slings Myofascial Training®. Please note this online class is no longer running. Instead you can enjoy the REPLAY.

Pilates & Slings Class Replay 17 Sept - 15 Oct 2020

 

Spanning 5 weeks this class focuses on hydrating and enhancing glide in the arm and lateral lines. Once hydrated and active, the support is brought back by slowly building from Cleopatra Sit to Kneeling Side Support. In week 4, this is taken a step further with full Side Support variation bringing in increased multidimensional and unusual movement to enhance the adaptability of your myofascial system. 

 

By this time your myofascia and awareness are well prepared. Everything is tied together with a dynamic standing series utilising the lateral line and myofascial core in unison with a fun finish. You will feel invigorated and energised.

Props: 1 mat, 2 soft massage balls and/or Slings Massage Domes (optional).

Pilates & Slings Class Replay 23 July - 13 August 2020

 

Over 4 weeks, beginning from the 23rd July, the focus is on glide and tone of the Spiral Line and Arm Lines. Other benefits include a sense of push-pull or opposing forces. All of this culminates into the full expression of Kneeling Windmill & Stretch Bend from the Slings Myofascial Training® repertoire.

 

A new class will be added each week as this is the most current cycle.

Props: 1 mat, 2 soft massage balls and 1 or 2 yoga blocks.

​

Each class is labelled from Episode 1 to 4 and dated for your convenience. Take your time with each class. The suggestion is to do each class at least 2 to 3 times before progressing to the next sequence.

Pilates & Slings Class Replay 18 June - 16 July 2020

 

Over 5 weeks, this class focuses on strength in and around the hip area, adequate lateral flexion in the spine and postural endurance. All of this culminates in the full expression of Intense Hip Stretch and Side Bend, a Slings Myofascial Training® exercise that incorporates all of these elements.

Props: 1 mat, 2 soft massage balls and 1 or 2 yoga blocks.

Each class is labelled from Episode 1 to 5 for your convenience. Take your time with each class. The suggestion is to do each class at least 2 to 3 times before progressing to the next sequence.

SLOW DOWN WITH THE FOLLOWING SERIES

Enjoy multifaceted ways to move and massage your body. Improve alignment, create ease of movement and flexibility.

YOUR NOURISHING PRACTICE:

Restore a sense of calm & balance.

​

This series nourishes your body with 3 short sequences. The gentle practice is designed to calm your nervous system, bring balance within your myofascial system and restore a sense of internal and external equilibrium. 

 

Practice the Spirals & Twists sequence during the day as it can enliven your body and mind. The other two, suggested time is late afternoon or evening when you're winding down. They are designed to enhance your sleep and calm your nervous system bringing you into a relaxed state.

 

Props needed:

- a mat, 2 soft massage balls, 2 towels or blanket, 1 yoga belt (preferable) or theraband

Slings Slow Flow & Massage

This Roll & Release REPLAY encourages your nervous system to relax while gently focusing on areas in the body to massage, stimulate and improve blood flow.

2 soft massage ball (Slings Massage ball or Easy Grip Franklin Ball)
1 Foam Roller
